The Detroit Lakes District is part of a nationwide system of wetland districts. In Minnesota we have a total of six Districts.


Our district covers five counties Polk, Norman, Mahnomen, Clay, and Becker.

Detroit Lakes is the ONLY district in the state that is restoring more wetlands than are being drained!
